On October 16, 2017, the Silent Heroes Memorial Center at Rosenthaler Str. 39 in Berlin-Mitte will close. It will reopen on February 14, 2018 in an expanded form at Stauffenbergstr. 13–14 in Berlin-Tiergarten, in exhibition space connected to the German Resistance Memorial Center. Themed tours focusing on “Silent Heroes” will be offered in the permanent exhibition of the German Resistance Memorial Center. Please register here.

The following tours in the Silent Heroes Memorial Center are designed for adults or students (8th grade and up). A tour (in German or English) lasts roughly 90 minutes.

General tour

The tour outlines the extent of rescue attempts in Germany during the Second World War. The exhibition introduces the diverse ways in which people helped Jews suffering persecution. Aspects of discussion include the risk this meant for all involved, as well as the motives of the helpers.
